七股竹橋慶善宮牛犁歌陣
　　七股區「竹橋慶善宮牛犁歌陣」是保存非常古老，且內容豐富的傳統宗教性牛犁車鼓陣團體。據西港慶安宮考證，在同治十三年(1874)「慶安宮往鹿耳門請水時期」，竹橋村(原名「七十二份村」)已加入西港刈香活動，但是車鼓藝師認為「西港仔香」姑媽宮刈香時期(1784)之前，村中就已有牛犁歌陣的傳承，所以該團已有二百多年歷史。慶善宮的保險箱中，藏著一本抄寫於線裝帳冊的車鼓老歌本，保留了牛犁車鼓極為豐富的藝術特色，該團除了隨西港刈香活動而舉行的入館、開館、謝館儀式外，尚保留了珍貴而豐富的傳統曲目，以及特殊的表演風格，非常可貴。(文字提供：國立成功大學藝術研究所特聘教授施德玉)


西港東竹林保安宮牛犁歌陣
　　西港區「東竹林保安宮牛犁歌陣」是西港慶安宮三年一科的大刈香中，陣容聲勢非常浩大的團體。據文獻資料記載，「西港玉敕慶安宮」的刈香歷史始於道光六年丙戌科(1826)，但當地耆老說，在乾隆四十九年甲辰科(1784)「姑媽宮」第一次舉辦迎王船遶境活動時，已經參與演出，所以至今應有二百餘年歷史。傳有《東竹林保安宮牛犁歌譜》，演出多按古傳的「腳步手路」，是以古老樸實的傳統風格見長，因為有地方上熱心人士的大力支持，所以始終能維繫不墜，並能一代一代的傳唱。(文字提供：國立成功大學藝術研究所特聘教授施德玉)

Cigu Chuchiao ChingshanTemple’s Niu-Li Troupe
        The Niu-Li troupe of Chuchiao Chingshan Temple in Cigu District is a well-preserved traditional religious Niu-Li drum-dance group. According to Sikang’s Chingan Temple,
Chuchiao Village (formally known as 72 Portions Village) joined the incense-offering ceremony of Sigang during the period of water welcoming from Chingan Temple to Luermen in 1874, the 13th year of Tongzhi. However, one drum-dance artist believes that the Niu-Li troupe existed in the village prior to the incense-offering period of Guma Temple (1784), so the group has possibly been around for more than 200 years. The old drum-dance songbook, a threadbare account book locked away in Chingshan Temple’s safe, preserves the rich artistic features of Niu-Li drum dancing. Apart from participation in the settling, opening, and completion ritual activities for the incense-offering ceremony, the troupe also preserves these precious traditional acts and performing styles, a contribution that is extremely valuable to society.(Text provided:Shih Te-yu, Distinguished Professor of the Institute of Art at National Cheng Kung University)
　
Sigang Tungchulin Paoan Temple Niu-Li Troupe
         The Niu-Li troupe of Tungchulin Paoan Temple in Sigang District is a large group in the major incense-offering ceremony held every three years at Sigang Chingan Temple. According to the literature, the incense-offering ceremony of Sigang Yuchih Chingan Temple started in 1826, the 6th year of Daoguang bing xu ke (丙戍科). However, the local elders said that the troupe participated in the first King Boat Inspection Tour held by Guma Temple in 1784, the 49th year of Qianlong jia chen ke(甲辰科); therefore, the group may be more than 200 years old. The performance is from Tungchulin Paoan Temple’s Niu-Li songbook, and it includes traditional body gestures. The group is known for its traditional acting style, and thanks to strong support from local enthusiasts, such performances are able to continue and be passed down generation after generation.(Text provided:Shih Te-yu, Distinguished Professor of the Institute of Art at National Cheng Kung University)
