I DO

(G)I-DLE首度與88rising合作，帶來充滿夏日氛圍的流行單曲《I DO》。作為(G)I-DLE的首支全英文單曲，《I DO》展示巨大的全球吸引力，(G)I-DLE將通過這首歌在新音樂舞臺上佔據前沿地位。

《I DO》通過80年代風格的synth pop（合成器流行音樂）和新浪潮音樂美學，將成員們流暢的人聲與歌詞中失去愛的苦澀與悔意相糅合，女孩們玩笑又頑固地對聽眾唱道：“she won’t love you like I do（她不會像我這樣愛你）”。

《I DO》的MV為我們展示了一個電影般的夢幻世界。(G)I-DLE的成員們扮演了因意外撞擊地球而降落在此的外星女孩，並在人類世界邂逅了一個內向普通的男孩。男孩陪伴著這個每打一次噴嚏就會更換一次外表和個性的外星女孩， 陪她探索地球、適應地球的生活。二人雖互生情愫，但最終在社會反對下，女孩仍然回到了本屬於她的世界。

(G)I-DLE’s first single in collaboration with 88rising, “I DO” is a pop anthem that is sure to be the soundtrack of the summer. It is the band’s first all-English single- setting (G)I-DLE apart and in the forefront of new music by establishing themselves as a band that holds massive global appeal.

The track lures the listener with a new wave sonic aesthetic through its 80’s inspired synth pop notes, interwoven in the band’s smooth vocals crooning lyrics ruminating over a past love lost and the bittersweet regret that follows. The girls cheekily sings to the listener that “she won’t love you like I do”.

In the music video, a cinematic fantasy universe emerges where a quiet, average boy meets an alien girl who one day made a crash landing on Earth. The alien girl, played by the members of (G)I-DLE, changes her appearance and personality every time she sneezes, and explores and adapts to life on earth with the boy. The boy and the alien girl develop feelings for each other, but face opposition from society surrounding them- forcing her to ultimately return back to the other world.
